Sara at SADIE OLIVE!

http://sadieolive.blogspot.com

Sadie Olive.........isn't that the cutest name ever?

What I love love love about Sadie Olive is her before and after photos. It's amazing how she can capture a vison, hold on to it and get to the finished product.
She shows you before and after shots. The before photos are not your usual kind. I didn't post any here, but they were tastfully decorated..........just not her style. I could see making myself live with it, but after seeing what she did.........now that's my style.

She even has a cute online store where you can get some cool stuff. Home decor, flee market....Fun stuff.

Once again, Sara seems very down to earth. Must be something we creative women have in common. Down to Earth!
Can you imagine have a luncheon with all the women I have posted so far? What a hoot! Maybe I should start planning a Creative Blog gathering...............I know I know.........I'm getting carried away.............but a girl can dream right?
Don't forget to tell her I sent you. :)

Sunday Sunday

It's 5pm and I just realized I didn't post a blog today.

I hope you don't mind, but I think I'll just let you re-visit what I have posted the last few days. There are some amazing women with such a wide array of talent.
Just so you have something to look at, I posted photos of my Thanksgiving table. My Photo Wall wasn't completed, but close. A new photo will be posted on my other blog sometime soon.

It's been a wild ride, this little blog. Never in my wildest dreams did I think this little blog that I thought up and started just out of the blue one afternoon would become so popular. Thrilling!

I love that there are so many of us creative people out there. There are so many creative outlets, I have had so much fun exploring all the sites you have sent me. Send me more! Leave me comments. I love getting to know who stops by.

Off to my creative mess in the kitchen. Pulled Pork Sandwiches, corn, Marionberry cobbler.

Have a wonderful Sunday! Check back tomorrow for a new Creative Blog.

Jessica at Celebrate Life

http://jessicak.typepad.com
http://www.yourstorykits.com

I found Jessica's site a little over a year ago too. Nice girl, great great scrapper. I always love her layouts. She has also started a Monthly kit.........I have yet to get one, but they are always so so tempting. Someday I will bite the bullet. Pretty cool stuff.

I love a simple layout that screams STYLE!

I love her funtional, yet stylish scrap area........room, studio........whatever you may call it, it's a fun room.
I wonder if I like it so much, because it's the same colors as mine? :)
Jessica has been sick lately, so skip over to her site and give her some love.

Meg at My LIttle Cottage!

Did you think I wasn't going to post today? No worries............here's your fix. :)

http://mylittlecottage.blogspot.com

I have been visiting Meg's Little Cottage for over a year I think. I am in awe of her simple homey approach. Love the whole slipcover look in her living room. I love that she is a crafty girl who see's the beauty in painting up furniture. I LOVE painted furniture.......which I am sure you have realized by now. It can be simple, or whimsical........I love it all.I could see myself reading a magazine in this room...........can't you? Sippin on a glass of iced tea? With lemon?

A before and......... an after..........LOVE IT!
Another reason I love Meg, is that she has naturally curly hair...........just like me. :) Curly and Crafty, now that's a combination. But the MAIN reason............she has a RED DOOR! You know how I love a red door. :)

Catherine at Red Shoes!

http://redshoesllc.typepad.com

OK, I'm really really depressed looking at her site. Now I want to switch my decor style in her direction. She has such a knack for design.......she makes it looks effortless, just like a ballerina dancing swan lake..........looks easy, until you try it.
Look at her whimsical timeless look? She is amazing. She really really needs to be featured in a magazine.........maybe she has, but you would never know it because she is so darn humble. Her emails remind me of Melinda on American Idol..........She is not snobby about her talent. I posted lots of photos, because I just couldn't stop myself. My son kept running into my scraproom where I work because he kept hearing me say "oooh...........OOOH..........oh wow!"
You know how I love a red door!
And this is her "to do list"...........that is so dang cool. Now I wish I lived near her so I could visit her shop...........like everyday! Except I would be broke. Some photos are from her home and some from her shop. Her blog and website are very easy to navigate.........you don't want to miss a thing.

And before I end this post..........did you see her pillows?

Thoughts of Joanne!

http://thoughtsofjoanne.blogspot.com

OK, OK................I'm sorry but this is NOT scrapbooking! These are not layouts that should be placed in an album, EVER!. Joanne does this 3D thing, and look at it. It's amazing! How in the world does she do it? She is such an amazing paper artist. Truely a scrapbooker that earns the title ARTIST!

She is so sweet. It's almost embarrassing..........she will come to my other site where I will post one of my layouts......and she leaves comments like "great job, love it!" I mean, I like my layouts........most of them..........but it's like Monet complimenting a graffiti artist. :)

Joanne has taken Scrapbooking to a new level..............a 3D level.

Go check her out.

Kim Haynes!

http://kimhaynes.typepad.com

I asked for a few ideas for photography sites and I got some! Thanks! Love them all.

Heidi sent me Kim Haynes' site. I was a first time visitor to her site, so I haven't spent a ton of time there. But in the little time I did spend, I found out that she only started to take photos a year ago.............A YEAR AGO! That right there is so inspiring. It's one of my dreams to take photos like this..........but first I need a fancy pants camera. My great little point and shoot isn't going to do the trick.
I found her photography simple and refreshing. She captures some sweet moments and I have to wonder if she developed that trait by being a scrapbooker first? Love the little plummer butt.

I also found her scrapping style very appealing. Love it! Reminds me of Sande Kreiger's, who I completly always try to copy. :) You know I love overlayed circles! It's my weakness.

Looking for.....

I am looking for some photography blogs. I am aware of Tara's and Audrey's..........but I would love to find someone on a smaller scale..........any ideas? Please leave me a comment.
I'll be back later today.

Jeanette with A Passion for Scrapbooking, Decorating and Shopping!

http://jeanettes.typepad.com

http://jeanettes.typepad.com

Her title says it all. When you visit her blog, you can tell she really does have a passion for all those things. What I love about Jeanette, is that she is so excited to share the latest find. She has great ideas...........creative ideas. She shares her journey in decorating her home.
From reading her blog, I get the feeling that Jeanette is a really great friend to her girlfriends. Her warm personality comes through with her decor.
I can't wait to try the framed monogram. And I see in one of her kitchen photo she even has 3 Sid Dickens Memory Blocks..........I have 5 and I want more. You can see mine on my other blog...........once there, click on "my favorite pieces of art."
The girl even has a pineapple........and you know I love a good decorative pineapple.
She has a fun scrap room/studio too.

Jerusalem

Jerusalem is a crafty girl. I recently found her site and I find it warm and down to earth...........I say that about all the sites, I guess that's what I'm attracted to. Creating should feel welcoming

I am still new to her blog, so I'm not exactly sure where she's from.......Arkansas?

I like her banners and her relaxed decor. She has a cute shop..........I love those jars!
