EM!

I love this girl! Em.I love how she drinks up life with not a care of what others may think. She seems to marinade in the everyday, soaking up the all the little things that make our life special. The things that so many people don't see but are right in front of our face.
I first got hooked on her blog because of her connection to the scrapbooking world. I think I found her from Tara's blog.........I featured Tara awhile ago. Fabulous photographer. When I read her blog, I sometimes forget that she's a scrapbooker. I get caught up in her artistic ways, her love of life, her love of being a Mum. (she's originally from Australia) Everything about her screams creative.
She recently just answered a bunch of questions about her dreadlocks. You can bet this girl has broken all molds on what a crafty girl looks like. She is definitely not a "I'll have what she's having" kind of girl. She is definitely not sitting around in a sweatshirt with a teddy bear applique. And if you are...........sorry.........there I go again putting my foot in my mouth.
So so talented. Truly magical. She is a genius at mixed media.

I'm sure you'll get sucked into her world after reading.
She also has an etsy shop...........am I the only person who doesn't? I need to figure out something to make.......I'm feeling left out. Love this camera strap.

For a mixed bag of interests........go visit Em's blog. Even if you're not a scrapbooker, a painter, etc.... you'll fall in love with her anyway.

Wow - you're so right. From what I observed on her site, she seems to be one of those people who is just comfortable in their own skin. I envy that quality.

Those kiddos are lucky to have such a mommy.

Hi Kim, love this post! And no not everyone has an etsy shop!! Don't despair. We thrive on your etsy blog that provides us weekly nourishment and lots of fun! Hey, I thought you would want to know, Melissa @ The Inspired Room is having a front door drive by...I know how much you like red doors! You can post all the front doors and porches (fall related) that you want. She is doing it later this month, but I thought of you!
There should be tons of red doors!
Blessings,
Debbie

Your writing was fabulous on this feature, Kim. I loved your turn of phrase with the marinade/soaking up the everyday idea. And I giggled out loud at your teddy bear applique reference. Not that there is anything funny about teddy bear appliques. But from first glance I can tell this girl is a real artist. Thanks for sharing. I'm off now to check her out.
