Sarah & Abraham

Every now and then I dream of changing careers..........something completely different.........something that miraculously I would all of a sudden possess the talents for...... Like Sarah & Abraham. I would totally do this.

Sarah & Abraham is a delightful site with delightful designs. I have always been drawn to simple, original and well designed stationary products. So of course I stopped dead in my tracks when I came across Sarah's site. This made me think of my pipe dream of printing original designs..........because this is exactly the type of stuff I would do. One simple problem..........I don't draw.

I love the simple silhouette designs she has created. Who doesn't love a silhouette? And personalized? She's got everything from stationary, to the cutest tags, art work for your child's room, baby announcements...........

How cute would it be to get your child personalized note cards, or Thank you cards? Or a teachers gift........Or even yourself?
LOVE this bird one? What's up with all the birds? I can't get enough of anything with a bird on it.

And this beautiful baby announcement? I'm thinking this paper would be great for any announcement. What do you think? And this one below gives me a cavity it's so dang sweet. Makes me want to have two more children. It doesn't help that she picks the most beautiful colors to use. Pinks, browns, greens.......And if you thought she ONLY did silhouettes, think again. She has the most adorable illustrations.......and they are SO reasonable. Once again, original art from a mom..........can't go wrong there.Sarah's work has an innocent nostalgic feeling. The feeling we all get when we look at our child's face...........especially if they're sleeping. And if you just gotta get your hands on a little Sarah & Abraham goods, she has an Etsy shop stocked full of treasures.

Go let Sarah know how wonderful her stuff is.

I see what you mean about an "innocent nostalgic feeling." Really nice designs. Since you like "original art from a mom," I thought you might enjoy artwork by my friend, Laura, who is also a mom. It would be great if you could comment on her work or link to her site: http://www.mysweetandsour.com/

I know you're not pushing goods, but I keep buying! I want to get some of these sweet cards and frame them. They just speak of childhood, but in a sophisticated enough way to hang around anywhere in the house.

I thank you. My credit card doesn't :).

Wow, those are so pretty! Lately, things that are simple and calm have been calling my name.

Love your blog, I don't know why I've never come across it!

Bradley,
Thanks for sending me a site to look at. Very cute things....I may have to look into the pirate one for my son. If she had a blog, I would for sure feature her at some time. I didn't see a blog. If she has one, please send me a link.

I love these, especially the elephant and children silhouettes. I too have a dream to be an artist of some kind, however I also lack the fundamental skill of drawing. I may not be artsy, but I am crafty so all is not lost.

I love your blog!!!

These are great. I love the old fashioned silhouettes of children, these have a more modern spin that is very appealing:>)

What beautiful stationary. One of my favorite things is to try and match stationary with the recipient---there is a lot of really good stuff here!

If anyone is so in love with these designs that they want to win some, they may pop over to my site and join in the bloggy carnival fun. I'm giving away Sarah and Abraham stuff.

Sorry, Kim--not trying to detract from the comments here :). Sara is also giving away some of her things, so that's two chances to win (!)

go for it Jen! I better win.
