Teacher Appreciation Gifts

I know I’m too late for some of you, but we here in the Pacific NW are still in the throws of school.  3 more weeks left……..I guess that explains why we’re smarter here.  :)

Oh, yes I did………I just said that and if you know me……I am TEASING!  :)

But for us poor souls still in school, you are no doubt starting to panic about teacher appreciation gifts.  Especially if you like your teacher.

My son’s teacher reads my personal blog…….I think she may read this one too……She’s fabulous!  We love her and his math teacher too.  We are very very fortunate to have them this year.

OK…….I found a few quick and cute ideas from eighteen25……One of my featured bloggers sent me their site…….Thank you Meg.  These gals named their blog after the address they grew up with in Vegas.  Cute isn’t it?

Cute and quick……..image Cute packaging goes a long way, because I’m sure if you just stuck this smelly thing in a card, the teacher may get the wrong idea.  But add the cute packaging and the cute saying and suddenly you are the most wonderful parent in her class!imageSimilar packaging with Swedish fish.  Once again, you’d win some creative points here.image

They have so much more on their site besides teacher gifts, but since I am desperate, that’s what you’re getting today.  what I do love is they show tutorials for all these……..the last thing I want to do is figure out how they made it look so cute.  Whew…….thank you.image What teacher doesn’t like chocolate?  Certainly not a sweet one.  Maybe we could give lemon drops to the sour pusses?…..image I thought this was clever.  So cute. And once again……if you waltzed in the Principals office with a six pack……..of soda…..they may not see what a great gift it really is.  So be sure to add the chocolate and the cute tag.  If you don’t have the cute tag and chocolate…..then better make that six pack something a little stronger.image This has nothing to do with teacher appreciation gifts, or Easter really.  I just liked it.  I love the blue and I love the silhouette.image

This blog is fresh, and full of lots of ideas to keep you going.  Don’t disappoint me…..if I’m giving away a Lisa Leonard necklace each month, I hope you’ll at least do me a favor and leave a lovely comment when you visit my features.

Love the soda gift. I like to to buy the six packs in the cardboard carriers (Grape or Orange CRUSH,etc) take a bottle or 2 out, then fill thse 2 holes withcolor-coordinated candies, gum & sometimes a gift card. Fill in all the open crevices with color coordinated shredded paper and add a couple of extra ribbons. Kids and adults love them.

Packaging is really under-rated! It can take the most simple gift and give it real pizazz! This blog is full of awesome ideas~thanks for sharing it!

These are some great ideas! What I really like is that most of these would work just as well for men as they do for women! So many teacher gift ideas are focused around women and my husband is a teacher, so I like to see great ideas that are good for men!

I always wondered how to do the chocolate bar wrap. Now I see the pic and I think, "duh, why didn't I get that a long time ago?!" I love the ribbon that gives it the extra touch! thanks for the ideas

Gosh you almost make this old woman to have young kids in school again, just to get to make these pretties. Wonderful ideals.

3 more weeks? You poor thing! We lost some state funding, so it looks like our school district is going to cut out 3 days. I think that next week will be the last!! Does that make your kids a little bit smarter than mine? LOL!!

Great ideas here!! Thanks for sharing!

According to friends that are teachers, sweets, gift cards and wine are preferred gifts. One gal said tequila but I think she was kidding. Hmm, maybe not.

These ideas are too cute, and actually look pretty do-able. They perfectly illustrate that creative packaging can make even the most basic items completely gift-worthy! (PS - love your blog!)
