A few of my favorite things!

I am so excited to be setting up shop!  Unlike so many of you, I possess NO skills to sew or making something to sell in an Etsy shop or my own boutique.  I have felt left out with all you talented people.  :)  image

One of my passions is decorating…….with unique, one of a kind items.  Or taking ordinary items and grouping together to making something spectacular!

So below……are just a few of my favorite things that I’m offering in my boutique!  Items meant to make your home warm, inviting and original.

Bees Footed Glass – I have been swooning over these for at least 2 yrs!  You know I’ll be picking up a few…..I will NOT allow my son or husband to drink from them. They’ll be just for me………and well…….you…….if you come over for a glass of tea.image

Bakery Twine – Honestly….can you ever have too much bakery twine? I LOVE LOVE LOVE bakery twine and ever since they stopped carrying it at Michaels….I’ve been so sad.  Not only do I carry red, but many other colors too!  image

Switch Plate Covers!  Stop the Presses!  I know they’re little, but oh boy to they make a difference.  I’ll be adding these bee plates to my home asap.image Ohhh, anything botanical wins in my book. image They kind of remind me of my Sid Dicken’s Memory Blocks. image image

Tea Towels - I love an artichoke!  LOVE!  I have them in several places around my home….these are going to look great in my kitchen.image

This design is pretty sweet too……….image

Well I hope you enjoyed a peek at a few items in my boutique.

I’m hoping to have everything set out and ready by this weekend.  We’ll see.

Don’t forget to leave a comment.  All comments are automatically entered for a Lisa Leonard Necklace giveaway.  image

I wasn't going to comment, but then
this popped up again in my google
reader and thought ... hmmm ...
I'll add my two cents to Ms. Kim ...

here goes ...

WHAT THE HECK! You don't think
you're creative because you don't
use glue, staples, thread, needle,
a crochet hook, bobbins, glitter,
duct tape, fray check, fire,
sequins, beads, fabric, yarn,
paper, stickers, or a popsicle
stick?? {you know this list could
have been longer ... but I want to
get to my point}

You, my dear friend Kim, are so
creative in your thoughts, through
your wit, your creative writing
hand, you actually smile through
your words.

So, please, don't think you're not
creative ... because YOU ARE! And
look at you know ... opening up a
very creative shop ... having that
creative-eye to spy those wonderful
items we'd all want to own ...
because it will be through your
creative writing that will lure
us in!

Now go ... hurry up and launch
that creativity upon us! ~j. :op
