My favorite Christmas cookie is the decorated sugar cookie! No one goes through all that trouble the rest of the year, so they are special at Christmas.

hmm, my favorite cookie. Hard, since I love cookies. I guess it would have to be thumb print cookies. I only make them during the holidays and they are so yummy. This weekend I am in a cookie exchange. I have to make 11 dozen macaroons. Someone shoot me now. The pendants are so cute. I would love to win one. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

My favorite Christmas cookie has to be iced sugar cookies. I'm from FL so I use a palm tree cutter and decorate it with dots of Christmas "ornaments" of icing.

My favorite Christmas cookie is a good ole sugar cookie with powdered sugar icing. We used to make those every year when I was a kid and you just can't beat them!

My favorite Christmas cookie is one that has been a family tradition since I was a little girl, many, many moons ago..Sour Cream Cookies. It is a delicious cookie with a pecan on top. I have the recipe on my blog. YUM!

Ginger Snaps are my favorite Christmas cookies...hands-down! My grandmother has the best recipe and I look forward to going to her house every year for those and her spiced tea! Can't wait!

Looks like I have lots of company when I say that gingerbread is my favorite for Christmas. Because I don't eat it the rest of the year, it just makes it that much more delicious when I do at Christmas!

My ALL-TIME favorite Christmas cookie is my Grandma's recipe for (what we call) "Candy Cane Cookies". They are made of red and white dough, rolled out into long strands, twisted together, formed into a candy cane and baked. She usually put a touch of almond extract in them for that extra touch. Aaaahhhh...Christmas!

I don't know that I have a favorite Christmas cookie but I LOVE peanut brittle at Christmas time. My mom made it every year when I was growing up.

Magic Bars - you know the ones with a graham cracker crust, coconut, butterscotch and chocolete chips. My friend makes them every year and we won't let her get out of it as our friend gift! For some reason they taste better when she makes them - maybe it's the love♥

i have heard them call them a few different names. wedding cookies. snowballs. so i am not sure. they are the cookies that are shortbread with walnuts or pecan in a ball covered in powdered sugar.

does anyone know what that are called?

My favorite holiday "cookie" is actually a little mini muffin (you could make cookies out of them). They are mini fruitcakes...cherries, coconut, raisins, oatmeal. YUM!

My favorite cookie is Heath Chip cookies. I sub out Heath Bar toffee chunks for chocolate chips in a chocolate chip cookie recipe and they turn out just a little different and a whole lot yummy! :)
