Whimsy by Victoria

Whimsy By Victoria.............Victoria's been in my FFF (300+ and growing) for a bit.......then she joined my Facebook.........so even though she doesn't have my "I Love Today's Creative Blog" button in her long list of Inspiration buttons, I know she likes me. :)
Which by the way, you can add that darling blinkie to your side bar........the code is all the way down.......at the bottom.

She is the mother of many children, so I'm not really sure where she finds the time to be so creative.......but I'm glad she does. She recently asked me to go look at this handbag she was giving away...........HOLY SMOKES! I loved it, but surely she didn't sew it I thought.......BUT....Yes she did. I asked her. You sewing people irritate me. I want to sew like that........NOW. Yes, I know I could take classes, but it would be years before I could master that level of skill and with my personality.........I want to do it NOW, I have projects to make NOW! It's much easier to whine and pout than to do anything about it.........besides.......I can scrapbook. Well I used to anyway before blogging entered my life.Victoria makes some pretty cool handbags.........I think she sells them, but I can't remember.

But also loves the paint furniture......my kind of gal. This chair.........a typical queen ann'ish dining room chair.......we've all seen them and it's only my personally opinion, but I don't like that shiny wood look either, especially dark.......Now I may have just offended 1/2 of the people out there, but seriously you shouldn't let MY opinion ruffle your feathers. If you like the shiny queen look, great.......just stating MY opinion..........but it would look better a different color. Just MY opinion.See? Who can argue about this chair not looking WAY better? Who? Look at that color......that sassy fabric.........I love this. And now look at it............So cute sitting there.......love the wall arrangement.....it even looks OK with that unpainted cabinet. See I don't hate all wood...........but it would look cute painted a creamy white. :)She is handy at other whimsical things too. She found a chandelier like this one at a sale.......but shiny brass doesn't scream whimsical.............so she put her signature on it. Cute!

I hope this weekend brings many a yard sale find. I hope you'll visit Victoria and leave her a nice message. Spread some cheer.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Oh Kim! You have made my day!! My heart is all warm with your very great post! You have to forgive me...I thought I had your button on my side!? So, I will be grabbing it now and put it there, because I have been a follower and fan of your blog since I started mine. I adore you! Thank you for making my day and wish we lived closer...we could scrapbook together! :) Oh, and I definitely agree...that dresser will be painted a creamy white, distressed, molding and cute knobs...I better get to work on it! Have a great weekend Kim!!

Hugs to you,

I love that purse too! I also love how that red chair turned out. I must have been to her site before because I saw that chandelier before! I'm off to look again. Thanks for the link!

Cute stuff-I love the chair and the cute bags!
I am the same way about scrapbooking, I haven't made even a handful of pages since I started blogging-and I wonder sometimes if I could still make a decent page!
Oh and I've had your button forever and ever-you make my day better every time you post!

Especially love the chair you did. We are preparing to down-size and I've already got plans to paint some of my existing furniture to re-use and re-purpose in a new home by painting it. I'm a bit nervous about it, but then I see outcomes like yours - fabulous!
