This That and The Other ~ Jodi

Jodi, Jodi, Jodi............We really need to meet. We are directly across the Columbia River from each other.........she in Gresham, me in Camas. I bet if I went out onto my front porch and yelled really loud, she might be able to hear me. Maybe she can see my red door.

Jodi has been one of those happy happy bloggers. She'll send me emails with blogs I need to look at, she knows what I like. She even gave me this award that I so graciously absentmindedly ignored........thank you Jodi........really.

When you visit Jodi at This That and The Other, you have a hard time pinning down her main talent. Is it sewing? Baking, crafting? She's a do it all kind of gal. Now I know who to go to when I need something sewn..........remember I don't sew.

She has me rethinking the plan to get rid of old sports tee's and jerseys........This is so perfect and I can imagine any boy.......or girl for that matter.............LOVING it! I think I'll start saving all my son's sports shirts and jerseys too...........like I'm going to wake up in about 10 yrs and suddenly make a quilt. You never know............but I may be rich enough by then to pay someone to do it...........maybe Jodi and I will be best friends by then and she'll do it for me???

She likes quilts...........she makes things like this that I never even knew could be made. :)

You know a girl who plays with this much fabric has got to have a killer studio.......sewing room........craft room.........whatever you call it........it's stunning.Don't you just want to go mess it up?

And if you're so easily impressed...........look at her "baking center"............baking center? Who has a baking center? Show off. .

My baking center would be filled with boxes from Betty Crocker. But I want one anyway so I can have that cute red gingham.........and that mixer............and that scale.Jodi, where's your canning center? I have one............where's yours?Yum.........those look pretty tasty don't they? I bet they're from Hood River.........just up the gorge from her.

She recently made 400 cupcakes for a friends wedding! 400! I'm sure it wasn't a big deal..........she has a baking center. :)

THIS is cool! Love the white chair with it. Those leaves are fabric. Miss Fancy Pants shows you how with a tutorial. Her idea was so good, it was published in this magazine! Isn't that awesome! I really am proud of her........even if I look a bit green.

Jodi has a little something for everyone! Go tell her how you found her.

Wow! So many great projects! I especially like that quilt; I've seen a ton of t-shirt/jersey quilts gone bad, but that one makes me wish I had a boy so I could make one!

I just got the BlogHerAds newsletter and clicked though to see your blog! This post made me laugh - and made me envious. An entire room for creating?! And a frickin' baking center?! Jodi needs to share some of that luscious extra space in her house withe me!

I love quilters. They are patient people; therefore, they can deal with me. =)

Man, this has got me wishing I could undo my last drop off to Goodwill-a whole bunch of cool boy clothes gone. (Well, I guess I could buy them back?) Oh well, I don't sew so I guess it doesn't matter, I could whip up something clever with the hot glue gun and some staples. ;)

I have officially been Type-A shamed.

And that quilt is so cool. I had so many jerseys when I was little, and now they're all gone. I wish I had this quilt!

I have to go clean my kitchen now...
