NIE Auction is OVER!

It's been a wild ride. Thank you for all your donations, bids, payments! We raised $3140 for the Nie Family. If you won an auction and still need to pay. Please pay via paypal to nieniefund@gmail.com then please send me a copy of the receipt. krjdemmon@comcast.net That should at least pay for a mortgage for one month with a little left to pay some utilities. Hopefully that can help ease their mind a bit so they can focus on healing for those babies and each other.
Finishing this auction and helping this family is helping distract me from losing a dear friend yesterday to Burkits Lymphoma. My friend Tamra has 5 children. She went through a stem cell transplant in the spring. It was her last chance at beating this. She was doing well. She passed in her sleep while her children were at school. I ache for her son who is my son's age. They played on several sports teams together. I ache for her other children and husband who adored her. I ache for her grandchildren. Cancer sucks.

Give me a couple of days to recover from the auction and this news. I'll be back. Blogging is good therapy.

Thank you everyone.

You rock, you're awesome, and do you even 'know' the Nielson family?

Cool, either way.

Was too slow and too busy to get my crap together...for one of my bags?

Think in a month they will still want my donation/and or money?

I'm sorry for your friend. Glad you have the blogging world? I moved and it didn't seem so bad cuz I had all of you!

This is great news. I was just telling someone yesterday I cant imagine what that would be like having such life threatening accident and mounting bills and not being able to see my child. It's so nice to see people come together and help out:)
My condolences regarding your friend. Cancer does suck. It took the three most important women in my husband's life in a five year time period.Sending positive thoughts to your friend's family and friends.
