I got nothin' for ya

As summer is coming to a close, it's crunch time. Crunch time to soak up the last bits of sun (it's been raining here), Crunch time to gather all the needed school supplies, crunch time for PTA board stuff.
Then on top of crunching, I caught my son's cold (haven't had one in over a year!), I had bunco at my house. I should have taken a photo because it was SO clean. I don't know about you, but things get cleaned for events that don't usually bother me on a daily basis. Like dishes............just kidding. Actually my husband does most of the dishes.
Because I like adding photos......here's my newly painted armoire. Nevermind the toys on the floor and that ugly cave above my fireplace.......... my katherine chair is there because I used it as my ladder to place my never ending collection of pineapple things on top...........and my candle sticks.......no candles. I was just seeing if I wanted them there. I now have other items placed on them......and they look cute darn it.

I would post a feature today, but it's time to head to Seattle to hopefully watch the Mariner's win.
Hang in there, I'll be better once school starts. This "deliberate" parenting thing gets in the way of my blogging. But it will pay off, because my son will adore me when he's older just like Michael Phelps adores his mom. :)

Your armoire is gorgeous...I have one just like it...it is my favorite. Your room is lovely...very relaxing and I love that color on the walls.
Now down here in Beaverton I want fall to come as much as the next guy but I am glad to have some summer back...isn't is great the way the rain washes every plant and street and building clean?
Have a great weekend ~ Go Mariners!

I passed a random sale during my travels yesterday. It was full of old doors and shutters. I couldn't help but think how much you would have loved that. The possibilities were endless. I didn't have time to stop because I was on my way to an appointment. Maybe next time I can stop when I see something like that and then show you some great goodies.

I love your pineapple collection. We are avid lovers of pineapple decor as well - I have been eyeballing little statues similar to the ones you have - now that I see how you've arranged I have the perfect idea of where I could put them!

Okay I have to know...What color are your walls? Those are the colors I want for my living room but just can't seem to find the right shade. My last attempt looks like buttery yellow. Just not quite there.

I'd be parked infront of the fireplace all cozed up for the winter ! And, Michael Phelp's family is from Balt.Md, just like where I grew up.....so maybe my sons' also will adore me.

Deliberate and intentional parenting...that is what it's all about, even if you got nothing. :) But that armoire certainly is something!

KIM, KIM, KIM, hopefully some of us can help save the day. I just noticed at http://joysofhome.blogspot.com/'
she had several ladies (creative I am doggone sure) sign up for creatvie ways to use spray paint. There are a bunch of ladies probably some new ones that you might want to check out. Nothing like a challenge to bring out new posting ideas!!!! Hopefully this will help!
