Life as Lou

I just love Lou's blog. Life with Lou. I've been checking in on her blog for awhile. I started because of her scrapping abilities and quickly came to love her writing. She writes about.........well...........her life. Her life as a mom.........her life as a military wife..........her life as a part of her faith. She keeps it real. And let's not forget her scrapbooking. She's a scrapping genius. If she isn't published, she should be. I have no idea where she finds the time to create such amazing works of art while running after two active kids. But I'm glad she does.

What I thought you pretty people would love, is this tutorial on explosion boxes. Perfect gift for Valentines day. I can't see myself making one of these, even though I think they are amazing. This looks like it takes patience and that's not something I have a lot of lately when scrapping. I have been making Simple Scrapbooks look complicated.

I thought you'd like that. All the directions are posted on her blog. Don't ask me where........remember, I'm low on patience. :)But here is the one I really thought you'd all love. It's got a different spin, very very cool.Little boxes that open up! How cool is that? If you're low on patience, I'd bet she'd make us some if we paid her. Right Lou? She is the queen of mini books. Her work is so good, I always like to see what she's created. She needs an Etsy Shop.Scalloped edges! I love scalloped edges. And below...........cute cute accordian album. Queen Lou. Queen Lou of all albums that are mini!See?!!! I told you so! Doesn't she make a beautiful queen with her angelic looks? The layouts aren't bad either. I have a feeling that this pretty little lady is the real queen of the house. Please stop by Lou's and let her know how you found her. Be sure to check out her side bar for her catagories..........lots of fun reading.

And keep those questions coming.......this is looking promising. Confused? Look down one post.

Reading this blog daily has totally left me hating the fact that I don't scrapbook -- that, and that EVERY SINGLE ONE of my girlfriends do. Who knows, maybe one day when I am caught up with my sewing orders I'll give it a whirl!
