Have you no shame?

Me? Nope, I don't. Life is too short and besides it's true what they say about being over 40.......you just don't care about stuff like that. I can't wait til I'm 80........have you noticed that old cute people.........and I plan to be cute.........they can get away with saying anything?I have several cute gals over 80 in my water classes and bless their souls, they keep up with the 30 yr olds.......one of my favorites.....Claudia......but pronounced Cloedia ..........greets me as I walked in with "There's my darlin!" in her thick eastern European accent. I could have just jumped in the water right then and kissed her. What a sweetheart.
Anyway, back to my shame............this is actually a shameless post. Since I have no post today because I am writing the PTA Newsletter, I thought I would remind all you lovelies to grab the code from my blinkie and post it!
Shameless aren't I? It's off to the left there............. :)
I've also had a few questions about the design of my blog. Shawn designed it! Her logo is on the right.......Eclectic Whimsy.

Smooch!

I loved the water class I took when 9 months pregnant just because of all those "cute" old women. That and the fact that my whale of a self at 9 months pregnant was weightless in the water!

Cute post.... and an encouraging one as well, for that's the right attitude! The third age is a scary phase for many people, and humor definitely helps...

Have a beautiful day!

Just wanted to let you know I love your blog! I love all the fun, creative things that are on it. Even if my house doesn't look like the beautiful homes you feature, that's ok! It gives me inspiration! And I added your blinkie to my blog a few weeks ago, thanks for having it!

I love this post about the "cute" factor. That's how I've always been described and I've despaired that no one describes me as pretty or beautiful. Even as I age, "cute" has been the modifier applied to me. Now that I'll be 56 this year, I'm thinking that maybe you have a point. Maybe being cute has actually been better than anything else. I think I shall count my blessings and hope that I'm still cute when I'm 80.

You've made my day!

Hi Kim.
I will add the blinkie.
I have a question, and I think you may know the answer...
To 'do' digital scrapbooking, do you need photoshop?

I got my new "featured" blinkie, but I'm still keeping my old one----and you can't make me give it back :)!

I take step class with 75 year old twins, and not only are they cute--but they could kick my hiney!

Thanks for the story!

I remember going to the "YMCA" with my grandpa while we would go stay with him during summer and the cute little old ladies would always come up to my and my sister and say Oh look at the little mermaids! haha I guess it went to my head because I always pretended to be a mermaid in that big pool! I hope when I am that old that I can say that to some little girl that is watching me in my poka dot bathing suit and cute pink swimming cap and googles! haha

Toodles-
Sarah

I feel your pain. I too look forward to the perks that go with being 80--except the wrinkly part.
I enjoyed my visit here.
