Where is Flat Betty?

A while ago, Meg from Creative Outlet (a past feature of Today's Creative blog who makes amazing stuff) asked me if I would be a part of her new Flat Betty program. For each mile that Flat Betty travels, she donates .05 cents to buying supplies for the children of an orphanage in Haiti.......See Betty's blog for full details. You can read more on her Flat Betty site. I jumped at the chance.
You can also read about Betty's adventure with me this past few days. Check out my personal blog Scrap-To-My-Lu for all the fun.

And just for some eye candy........here's a little peek at my attempt to get into the holiday spirit.

My fav is the tiny little cardinal perched up there. I had planned to do 3 of these gumdrop trees...........good grief.....have you ever done one? My fingers were killing me pushing those toothpicks in. Never again. I don't care how cute they are.

Good grief, no wonder you are having trouble blogging at your personal blog. You are making gumdrop trees for goodness sake. You are too much! Putting me to shame, you are!

They are cute, though. Your house is looking divinely festive!

I made three! But I had to tell someone about it because it took me three days (and sore fingers!) to do it! I thought I'd come up with the idea all on my own, then I saw that old Paula Deen had them on the cover of her magazine. Sheez! Isn't there such thing as an ORIGINAL craft idea anymore? :)
