So....today, I chose Gabi! Going for Greatness! My dear friend Gabi. I've known Gabi in cyberspace for at least 3 or 4 yrs. I met her on a message board, then followed her to another where we were both on the Design team.
I picked Gabi today because I just find her so darn interesting. She is full of surprises. Not only can she scrap well.........and there's not nearly enough of her layouts on her blog.............her and her Doctor husband are WWll history buffs. They are working on opening up their own museum. They do re-enactments. They are crazy interesting people.
They also use their love of WWll to have a little fun at Halloween.I love Gabi for her love of life. You can tell she doesn't care a flying fig what someone might think of her. She is true. She trudges forward striving to light her own fire, to be the best mom she can possibly think of and seems to have such an open heart.
I love this old chair..........because of the shabby look. She loves it because of the history.....wondering who sat in that chair. Doesn't that place a more interesting spin on our old painted furniture we're finding? And look at her house! What a great place. (like I've been there.........but I know she would let me stay if I was in the area) She has some photos on her blog of the finished patio in the back. She was even close to John Denver. She's interesting.......... I'm just tellin ya.
For just all scrap inspiration, she and a few others have a fun blog called ScrapDragons. Lots of layouts from many different people. Original ideas.
So, for something new, go check out Gabi.

I've been thinking I should take Jack and I on another movie date to see the Bee, so I am glad to hear you liked it.
This is really neat that you do this, and yeah- her house is divine!
