Boy Bedroom ideas!

All comments for the month of May will be entered to win a Lisa Leonard Necklace.  The more comments you leave, the better your chances.image

Using what you can find!  I love a resourceful woman.  Things are always more interesting to look at when you’ve created it.  My featured blogger today loves to rummage through her local DI….that’s the LDS Goodwill.

You can make some good stuff with scraps……she found a bag of material scraps and a bag of lace. image Didn’t take her long to whip up a couple of cute towels.  The birds are killin me.  So cute.

Restlessrisa  She’s a fairly new blogger, but don’t let that fool you. She has all kinds of things to make you swoon.image

Would would look at two old pillow cases and think “ Hmmmm, I could make a purse with those”.  Well at least I know I don’t think that.  image Decorating boy rooms are so difficult.  Not a lot of themes out there. I love her Outer Space room she did.  imageShe even made his head board.  Looks great and I bet it cost a whole lot less than buying a real head board.  Looks better too.image She recently re-did her laundry room.  I mean if we need to do laundry, it needs to be in a cute room…….right?  Who could possibly match socks in the BEFORE?image Now your talking!  I bet her productivity shot up to 0% socks lost.  Don’t we love the lime green?image    Lovely spring wreath!  A monogram wreath….we love monograms. imageParties are in the air.  She has some cute ideas too.  I thought you would like this pink marshmallow one.  image She used different utensils to add some white chocolate to them.   Added sprinkles……imageLet them dry…..imageAdded some tulle and now they look like roses…….roses you can eat!imageI loved this cute idea below…..a burlap runner that she embellished with ruffles.  You should see those plates.  Really really cute.  I’m sure my friend Valerie will have a fit looking for them now.  She’ll have to find a set for sure.image Just a table she did for a church event.  Just….

Using scrapbook paper for her placemats……seriously.  Never underestimate scrapbook paper.imageAnd if you think she’s all that……she’s not too proud to use a hot wheels organizer for her jewelry.  I’m waiting for her to embellish it.image image

You guys have been great with surprising my featured bloggers!  Keep it up. Head on over and tell  her she’s been featured…….I’ll let you tell her.

Hey! I found the Hot Wheels Organizer at Amazon ($14.99 when I brought it up). There are also some instructions on how to hang it at ehow.com, but it seems super easy to hang.

It's so good to see boy ideas, so many of the cute things in crafty-blog-land are girly (not that I mind girly things myself, but I'd have no where to put them in a house full of boys.)

I'm totally using that scrapbook paper-placemat idea though...

Going to have to pull out the marshmellow idea for the kidlets' 4th of July party. Ooohhh how fun. And also adapt it for a wreath for the front door. I'm making a list of the projects I am going to do once I am back to the States. Come read about my ex-pat adventures until then...
