Happy St. Paddy’s Day! Have I ever mentioned that I was Ms. Shamrock my senior year in high school? What a title to hold. :) Yea…..I have a little bit Irish running through these veins………it would have been my dads 73rd birthday.
Ahh sweet Marianne from Songbird.
We should all have a Marianne. She’s one of the best blog commenter's. She’s always positive….except for today…..rubbing it in that she was in Spain and the sun was shining. Well I’ll have you know missy…….it’s been sunny and 60 degree’s here in the Portland area (Oregon). Who cares if it’s raining right now……..
Marianne’s blog is really cool because she’s from the Netherlands. So she writes in English and the rest in Netherlandlish. :) Sometimes I read that part and pretend I actually understand it. I feel pretty cool when I do that.
Marianne is also really good at joining my MckLinky Party on Tuesdays. She left this wonderful plaster lace doily she did. Of course there is a full tutorial on it…….her photos are always great.
She had plaster left over from these little beauties……plaster roses……Calm down….yes, she shows you how.I’m loving this chicken wire Cloche. Who cares if that tips over…….it’s not going to break. So perfect for indoor or out. So perfect if you have an 11 yr old boy who brings his friends over to run through out home.Numbered items rate right up there with red doors. Can’t. Get. Enough.
And yes yes…….she has a tutorial.
Love her kitchen………so European. Really.
Now I love paint…..but I have never thought to paint a suitcase! LOVE!
She’s got lots of before and afters………..oh how we love those. How about this old army trunk…….It’s so pretty now.
If you’re tired of decorating features and you crave more paper craft features…….just hold on to your horses……she also dabbles a bit with all things paper too.
Cute card.I adore these Alice in Wonderland tags. Or how about this autumn banner she did……..last autumn. Usually I just say Fall, but I feel more European if I say Autumn…….I just do. Thank you Marianne for all your great photos and projects. Thank you for being a great follower and leaving me comments almost every day. The rest of you……take note. :)

Oh how lovely - thanks for the intro to Songbird's gorgeous pics. All of them are calling to me, but the plaster roses especially... wow!
I LOVE Marianne's site! She's so creative and introduces so many things I would never think of! I happened upon her thanks to Get Your Craft On (thank you) and have been watching her since! Plaster roses...now plaster doilies...to die for!!!!
You are so funny. I feel your pain with the comments. They remind me of roses - love them, but don't get them very often! Have a great day!
How have I never seen her blog...ohmagoodness...lots of eye candy!
Marianne is one of my favorite bloggers for the reasons you mention. I was lucky enough to win one of her recent giveaways. I'm so excited to receive my Songbird original. Great feature, Kim! (or should I say, "Ms. Shamrock?")
Amy :)

Gorgeous beyond words...ALL of it!!
I am also in love with her blog and have been following it for a while. I loved the plaster roses and want to try this myself.
Okay...that painted WHITE suitcase is a KILLER!!!! LUV it! WHY didn't I lug some of my old vintage suitcases out here from Alabama!?? I know what I'm looking for next time I go thrifting!
I will be popping over to check out all of her before and afters...I have a few things I am painting! I'll be sure and take before and after pics!
Have a fab day Miss Shamrock! ;o)

Smile...I love her blog too! It is so inspiring. What fun to see her featured here!
I just discovered your blog and it is awesome. I've been visiting other blogs you've showcased here and so many of them are totally new to me and wonderful. I started something similar on a much smaller scale, just this week, called Tuesday Tours. I'll be taking my readers on a tour of a new blog, shop, photo website, etc. each Tuesday. I'm a digital scrapbook designer by trade, avid photographer, and just beginning watercolors, so not a lot of time to blog but love, love, love visiting blogs. So many of my friends have incredible blogs and shops and I just want to help how them off. Have a super day and I'll be back to visit!! ♥
I Loved Marianne's baskets yesterday! And thanks for showing us all these other great projects too! I hear ya about the weather (I'm in Beaverton), I am having some sun breaks at my place today and the paper says 70 for Saturday...premature, I'm sure! Have a great week!
I had no idea you were in the Portland area! Me too!
