{Did you win Friday’s giveaway? Have you checked yesterday’s post?}
I’m all over the place when it comes to getting inspired. You never know where my simple little brain will take me.
Since I spent a full weekend scrapbooking last weekend, I’ve been excited about paper crafting….again……….not to say I haven’t also been dreaming of a few decorating upgrades.
What caught my eye about Laura’s site……besides her amazing paper craft talent……..was all the State Report / Country Report / Diorama content on her blog. If you’re a reader of my personal blog….yea that one I rarely update…….that one….you know that it was State Report Hell in our house about 2 weeks ago. And by the way………I got an “A” He got an “A”. It’s was actually very fun forcing upon teaching my child all my ideas. But seriously, if we all posted these projects, it may make it easier on all of us.
If you’re not there yet……..Report Hell….then you can’t appreciate the above photos and really just want me to get to the good stuff……….
OK enough already.
How about some really cool cards. I love how she took one simple design and used it over and over for different themes. Really…….why reinvent the wheel…………kinda like I was trying to say about the reports.
Laura’s layouts are SO MY STYLE! Colorful, pleasing to the eye and simple looking. Not to be mistaken for simple to create. You gotta have a vision. Not too busy…….if your layouts are too busy, then your eye doesn’t know where to look. (listen to me……I sound like I know what I’m talking about and really…….I don’t)But Laura obviously knows her craft. She’s been published 14 million times, she’s on 14 million design teams…..but are you surprised?Just look at her stuff.
What I love about scrappers, is looking at their creative space. I think scrapbookers have single handedly kept IKEA in business with this cubby shelve. It’s so perfect.
Her NEW studio…..Love the jars and the see thru baskets. Because for me? If I can’t see it…….it doesn’t exist. More of the new studio. Her old studio…..where she had more space. I love that center table. Great ideas. And those jars again………Sigh. Tell me…..are you a scrapbooker? Remember……you guys can get out of the dog house by leaving her lots of comments. I never let my featured bloggers know ahead of time, so it’s always a great surprise………well I think it’s great. :)

If you love linky parties…….you know mine is tomorrow, but Cindy with Skip to my Lou has Made by You Mondays.
Also, if you’re a scrapper……do you have a fancy pants camera? If so, Priddy Creations has some original ways to carry that gorgeous thing around. I’m loving my bag.

I've thought about trying digital scrapbooking. I love paper and I'm afraid I would let scrapbooking take over our house! :)
The cards are super cute!

Beautiful post. I was a former scrap-addict. Now I only have time to sew sew sew. Loved the studio pix. I re-did my sewing studio recently - something about having your 'own space' is soooo rewarding for this Mommy!
