Marie from Make and Takes………a past feature of mine that everyone and their dog knows……or at least should………anywhooo…….Marie emailed me last week and told me to take a peek at her friends blog……well………..you don’t have to tell me twice.
I can’t image being a friend of Marie’s……….the pressure. The creative pressure. :)
No Biggie is her friend. No Biggie is anything but a no biggie. I love her photos and want to know what lens she’s using.
Her blog is a little bit of everything. She’s cute as a button…….pun intended…and she even has a tutorial on how to make these adorable pendant buttons….TUTORIAL!!! While we’re talking birthdays………she’s pretty resourceful. We’ve all seen the tacky birthday banner that’s been around since 1970……..Well…….she decided it needed a coat of paint. What a fabulous idea!!! Just cut the letters up to hang with clothes pins. Love it. She didn’t need to do that ……..she is the die cut queen and probably owns every alphabet Provo Craft makes. Then she had these clippy things she found for a big discount. She painted those too…..Great idea to do all black & white photos and one color……..cute banner too. (die cut queen)She obviously likes paper crafts…….cute ideas too. These Utah girls have got some pressure…..Everyone scrapbooks there………except my sister who never uses her craft room. This above is a Fathers Day Card. If you have a Man in your life that likes to golf…….this is perfect. So simple, but yet so so so cute.
She had all these white buttons left over from another project…….so she decided to make a magnet board with them. The embossing is a cool touch.OK……..I have GOT to do this. Glass Etching. I have been wanting, planning to do this for a very long time. I love glass etching. This must be in the book of Mormon, because every LDS gal I know……..can do this and has. My sis gave me the idea of doing this to a glass pyrex dish on the bottom, so you know it’s yours. Or do it as a gift……or like she did below….Wrapped up…….. it looks so perfect. What a great looking gift. Her paper crafts are making me want to break my Cricut out.
To keep herself inspired, she found all these clip boards, and she knew just how to use them.……. THAT is original. Why not? Why not use our expensive magazines for wall art?……. I love it. I also love her photo wall. We love a thrifty girl that can give us ideas for our next hunt.
seriously………what a find.Or this one!!! THIS is cool! She’s a good mom……….she’s got her Valentines Day decor up. Speaking of being a mom……..she’s got a great adoption story on her blog too. So sweet. Here’s a little trick I learned from her on filling up that apothecary jar. Resourceful……. love these kind of tricks……don’t know why. Be still my heart…….have you ever seen such a simple but great idea? Green M&Ms and pink hearts. IF and that’s a big IF…….if you still have them after Valentines, you could swap out the ribbon and place a shamrock in them………..she’s got me thinkin……. You know the drill……….go get inspired!
Thanks so much for all your links yesterday! It’s still up and running if you want to add something. Also, thanks for leaving so many comments on my featured bloggers. Smooch!
