I love a good Shrimp Salad.

Are you ready to be amazed………yet again?  Seriously………when I started this little ole blog almost 4 years ago……..I thought I was pretty crafty.  HA!  I’m realizing that I could MAYBE pull a B out of Home Economics.

I continue to find blogs that keep me humble……..like WHO makes wood buttons……..who would think to make wood buttons?

Shrimp Salad Circus……..that’s who.IMG_0448Here’s everything you’ll need…….I like her already because she’s obviously safe.  Safety Glasses. I once made my son wear his Bob the Builder safety glasses while playing with this crazy hot wheel toy we found at a yard sale….the cars were shooting around everywhere.  Just another example where my husband thought I was over the top…..but let’s just say our son has only been injured on my husbands watch.  Just sayin……Here’s ONE example of my Safety Momitis, here’s TWO examples.  At least I didn’t make him wear a helmet.End of Cali Winter 2009 003She shows you a great tutorial along with many others………End of Cali Winter 2009 011Can you imagine if you made really big buttons and put red twine in the holes?  That would be cute for something….End of Cali Winter 2009 016Her tattoo means Live, or to be Alive…….I knew that because I’m so hip………and I looked it up on Wiktionary.

Valentines Day is coming up.  This would be a great little present for a sweetheart.  A terrarium.  Being a product of the 70s, I have loved many a terrarium in my day.   3 soil mix If you need more hand holding…….and that’s perfectly OK……she’s got a tutorial. 9 terrariumIf you want to stick with the “garden” theme……these also make great gifts, even for yourself.  Stamped jewelry is all the rage right now….but why not stamp a few other things?  Like old Spoons.  SpoonMarkerFinalUse them for plant stakes.  Brilliant!Caliego 016SpoonMarkerFlatten      She’s showing you another tutorial because she’s another nice blogger that shares.   She also shows you a little trick for making the letters darker.  She’s so smart.Caliego 035

While digging around her site, I found this cake.  Doesn’t take me long to find cake……..even online.

A sushi cake….how original.Sushi Cake! 011She also shows you how to make this.Friday 001 (2)

My husband hates coconut, but he could scrape it off right?

Off you go…….another blog for your feed.  Which reminds me………have you joined my reader? It’s at the top of my side bar.  How about my Facebook Fan page?  My Twitter?

Come back tomorrow for Fabulous Friday Giveaway.

marooter- Yes, the link is her blog. I don't link individual projects. She has a link that says Tutorials at the top of her blog. It's in there. Good luck.
