Tonya X 3

Tonya is a dynamo! Not only does she write 3 blogs..........but she also has twins. I seriously think she's got that overachiever problem.........

Munchkins and Mayhem, the party starts here is a blog that somewhat surrounds it's self around celebrations........all celebrations. She's been a regular commenter and I didn't even know she had this one.........so maybe she's humble too. Love the ideas on this one.
Like this project bag she put together. Every kid loves those candy necklaces............but mom's hate the sugary mess it leaves........with all that dye and all. I suppose if you are a candy necklace purist.......you could use Honey Nut Cherrioes...
I have no idea what these are, but I'd eat one.
These look wonderful! The color is amazing......they look so good and healthy.
If I were to have another baby.......God forbid at 47......I would have her plan it. Look at the detail.

Her second blog is Currently Crafting where you'll find all kinds of crafty projects...........most with instructions or TUTORIALS! We LOVE THOSE!

This below was a project for art easel clips she made for the twins. Flynn and Marisol........don't those names just make you melt? She's an Aussie......so that's probably where she found her original sounding names to us boring Americans. You'll also find these cute little knitted pastries she whipped up for her daughter with the cool name. This woman is so smart! She has made a "color" book for each color to help the kids with cool names learn their colors. Lots of other information inside too and she shares it all on her site.
No matter h0w many times I see this, I love it. Melting down your old broken crayons.
I could have been a much cooler mom had blogging been around about 9 yrs ago.

She does an awful lot with paper crafts too. She did a little mailbox for all her children.

Cute card.....easy......simple and a child could help. Love it.

And her last blog is her family blog A Day In My Life where she shares the creative lifestyle of a mother with a teenage son, twins and a husband who is deployed...........and I thought my life was crazy. She shares many a photo of her beautiful kids........She gets some really cool shots.

You can find so much entertainment with her sites...........whether it's looking for party ideas, crafty ideas or just reading about the daily antics......Darling girl, she really is.

ding ding ding.....The Winner is..........

Melissa! Melissa is going to fall off her chair when she finds out.........you know why? She has 3 boys (adorable I might add) and one little girl who is 2.........perfect age for this tea party teapot.

Melissa from A Time For Everything is quite the scrapper! She's also from the Pacific NW.........OH YEA.......let's hear it for us NW girls!

She's got a great idea for chipboard alpha storage. I use my IKEA drawers for my foam stamps....the ones I never use.........wait........I'm not using anything in that room lately......
Pretty cool huh?

Thank you to all of you who entered. I wish I could give away one to everyone, but that would break me. Dotty's teapot kits are under $40. Great gift idea for any little girl........no worries about lead. Stupid lead.

Forever and Ever House

Spring is just around the corner.........a time for renewal........a time so many of us like to spruce up our home, get that fresh feeling for the sunshine.
Jill has been sharing the rather large task of remodeling her WHOLE house. Instead of buying a brand spankin new home, they took the green route.........not sure they know that, but they are basically recycling a home. They bought an older home in dyer need of updating. This is their Forever and Ever House, they are working away month by month making changes. Some big, some small. I've enjoyed following their journey and thought you might too. She shows alot of Before and Afters. You know I love those as much as a tutorial.

With so many of us watching our budgets, there may be more of those "do it yourself" projects in your future. I love how her husband and her have mastered most of this. It gives us hope doesn't it?
This is the home BEFORE..........I kind of like the white railing........but I have to admit the white garage is a bit much.

AFTER.........Loving the color of the shutters and door. Even though the door isn't red.......red wouldn't look good with the brick. That's one thing with a brick home like this........you can change out the shutters and door color fairly often if wanted. I'm sure her husband would love to hear that.Let's get right to business...............the kitchen...........BEFORE. Ugh.......I know some people love the honey oak look..........and that's OK........but since this is my blog, I have to admit, I can't stand them! But you gotta do with what you've got.Like painting them white! Love this. What a difference this makes. What an amazing transformation. She's trying to figure out counter tops........and I think her husband needs to stay out of it...........Seriously......she'll be the one cleaning them anyhow right? When you visit her blog, you can get in on the process. This is the living room BEFORE.............BEFORE THEY EVEN OWNED THE HOME! I am so proud of them for looking past all this while home shopping. The real estate agent must have wanted to pull her hair out............I'm giggling at the thought of a home stager trying to help in this situation. She should have at least kept the mirrors. :)Ahhhhh.........some good sense has entered the room. Yes it's the same room. Another amazing transformation. So see people, no matter how ugly you think a room is, there is always hope.....and it usually involves paint! The lovely stairway.........BEFORE. And AFTER! I can breath again.Because their doing this all on a budget, she shows a few decorating tricks. This lamp? Instead of purchasing an over expensive lamp shade........she bought a simple one and added the ribbon trim. She used THIS! Have you ever heard of such a thing? I haven't but love the idea of sewing like this. I think I could even master this. This is a great blog is see what's next, a great place to get ideas on how to change up your own space........so much to look at.

Don't forget about my giveaway down below. Closes Wednesday 5pm.

Workin on a feature.........it could be YOU! In the meantime, here's a giveaway from a past feature.

Dolly's Cupcake Giveaway!!!

How about a giveaway? Those of you who have little girls, or like heading out for high tea will love this one. Kathy with Dolly's Cupcakes makes the most adorable plush tea set.
($38 value)
I was touched by her description, I just had to paste the whole thing below.

Tea & Me had to be cuddly and huggable. It had to be washable and warm the heart of a child faced with a hospital stay. These were Gramma Kathy’s thoughts when the call came. Her four year old granddaughter, once again, was dealing with complications of juvenile diabetes and a weak immune system. Gramma Kathy delivered the first plush Tea & Me set to her precious Emily. Emi was soon occupied with offering her family and friends tea and cookies. Emily now uses an insulin pump, is in kindergarten, happy and well.

We support Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). Thank you for helping, Dolly's CupCakes come along side JDRF to help find a cure.

Wanna win? Leave me a comment below by Wednesday 5pm pacific time.

Also, if you want to see more photos of my new baby girl.........Maybelle..........visit my personal site.

The little Things

I must get my scraproom organized! It is so bad right now.........My table is so cluttered that I didn't see my Stayz On ink with its lid off.............for days!!!! Who knows what else is lingering under that mess.

Visiting Jennifer from the little things has me inspired to get organized. Her site has the prettiest photos......so bright and colorful. Jennifer is also an amazing scrapbooker..........So much so that she's a designer for several big companies that most scrappers know. I'm sure I've seen her layouts before.........but once again I have to admit, I never stop to see who made them. Horrible I know. It's not that I don't care.........it's just that my eyes are fixed on the eye candy........the scrappy designs.......So many wonderful scrappers out there........and she's one of them.

This layout below caught my eye right away with the colors and of course the white space. I'm lovin her whimsical style, the random stitching....the buttons.

Look at that cute baby.................look at that cat! I love seeing "boy" layouts........since that's 99% of what I do.......all about me remember? Her use of buttons on this page is adorable. The dreamy look.........with the black & white photo.......love it.Now this one is one of my favs. It's so soothing.....it really captures the emotion, don't you think? This is where she creates all these beauties. Don't you love looking at creative spaces from other people? Maybe I should show you mine right now? You couldn't handle the inspiration.

She also has some fun house photos to look at. This green is cool! And see? It is OK to use a variety of different frames when making a photo wall. Oh.....that wasn't you I was arguing with......that was my husband. This blogging world has done wonders for my peeping tom obsession. I no longer have the urge to drive around at night just to get a glimpse at other people's decor taste through the lit up indoors. Blogging allows us to catch that glimpse, or get new ideas on a daily basis.

You couldn't see this view from a window drive by. What a great way to use the side space.....very clean and artsy.

I have always been attracted to the browns, creams and black look. Then add a splash of apple green.......purdy!!!How often do you see bathrooms? Well............on a blog that is. Sure there have been a few.....but really it's kind of hard to make your typical bathroom look stylish, original. How about this one? The colors are spectacular! And is that a stainless sink? In a bathroom? WOW!So there you have it. Go smother Jennifer with lots of creative comments. Enjoy your weekend!

I had a couple of readers ask about by "I love Today's Creative Blog" blinkie. Yes, it's still available.......it's just at the bottom......way down there. It's so cute, you must have one........just copy the code and paste it on your side bar. Smmmmoooooches!

Living Locurto & Just Something I Made (2 blogs 2day)

I've got a lil sumpin sumpin that's gonna make you squeal! 2 blogs today!
I recently met Amy with Living Locurto through Twitter........ and while cruising her blog, I found Cathe with Just Something I Made. Both blogs are full of stuff we love. I can't believe I hadn't seen these beauties before. Like I said, these blogs are full........ FULL of little diddies to keep you busy or dreaming forever.

They are both graphic designers.........which totally turns me green..........I just know I was a graphic designer in a past life.........or maybe a bikini model.....

Amy has a ton of great ideas on her site, but what I love the most are her FREE downloads. In addition to all her creativeness on her blog, she also has a design business, Atomic Egg........both this gals have more sites than a baby has rolls. They are busy.....

To keep herself organized, she has a weekly meal plan......with photos!

More free download ideas...........Amy is a fan of home birthday parties.........I can bet you right now that she doesn't have a child born in the winter and she doesn't live in a wintry climate............like me! And her children are still small.........No way was I having ten 10yr old boys in my house. So if you're up for some crazy making.....she has some cute ideas for birthday parties for your little ones.

Cathe had something on her blog that made me fall off my chair. She's got a love for anything vintage......she found this cubie thing below..........what is it anyway? Whatever it is, I love it and I want it.She used pretty scrapbook paper to line each cube. I know! You want to hate her, but you can't.

Another woman with the patience to make these wonderful button bouquets. I tried these........and it wasn't pretty. I love that she added the printed paper flower. She's not selfish with her talents, she shows us how she makes some fab stationary.....If I made something like this, I would probably make a dress out of them and wear it.More great ideas using your printer. She even has fancy tutorials.......this is the one I found on Amy's site. The more detailed tutorial is on both their sites.Another great tutorial.............love how she shows you the steps.

Cathe also has several free downloads. Like this one. A button for your blog.......she has directions and everything for using it. When you visit Cathe's blog, be sure to look around for all her other sites. She's got a ton too. I can barely keep up with my personal blog.......which has become very boring.......

Enjoy everyone.
