I’m on Chic Chick Duty this week…..I have 3 partners with Chic Chick (skip to my lou, tip junkie, secrets in the sauce) and we offer that great baby blue widget over there… the one that’s got the cute bird. This is NOT an advertising ploy….but if you aren’t a part of our widget yet, you should be. The abundance of amazing blogs you can find there is exciting. I love using it, clicking on all the links. We at Chic Chick love supporting women and their ventures…….that’s why it’s only $5.95 a month to advertise your site.
I found today’s feature on the link list. Actually this widget is making my job here at TCB MUCH easier. Be Creative caught my eye because she has had close to 500 hits from using our widget. Scrapbooking and paper crafting sites are doing quiet well in numbers.
Be Creative is a published paper crafter. She does a lot with Sizzix. Love her ideas.
I have a sizzix………….somewhere. I think she just may inspire me to take a bit more time in making my cards……actually look for my sizzix and use all those diecuts I spent so much money on.
Cute scrapbook layouts too………..I almost called them pages…….and you know that’s just not the right terminology………it’s a layout people. Unless something has changed……….fill me in please……bring me up to date.
Many wonderful ideas for cards, gift projects and any paper crafting on her site. I don’t know about you, but I make all my cards, except for Christmas. I am NOT paying $4 for a card. NOT. GONNA. DO. IT. So her ideas are going to come in handy when I scrap lift………is that still a term you scrappers use?
I hope my family appreciates my hand made cards, but sadly I know most end up in the trash………..GASP! I used to be an over addicted scrapbooker……scrapped everyday. I figured if I scrapped my son’s every moment, it was a way to prove to him when he’s 25 that he really did have a great childhood. Now that my scrap room is such a mess…….still have not unpacked from National Scrapbook Day that was in…….MAY! I rarely scrap……..I miss it…….but a lot of my creative time is sucked up here. I love this too……don’t get me wrong. If I didn’t need to feed my family or interact with them at all, I could do it all.
To speed things up, she has kits for sale. Card kits……like this cupcake kit. That way you feel like you made it………but you didn’t have to spend time designing it……shopping for the materials…….it’s all there for you to put together, then you reap the benefits. I can hear them now…… GASP! “Did you make this?” And you wouldn’t be lying when you reply “ why yes I did”.
Because she’s in the thick of paper crafting…….living the paper crafter dream…….she is up on the latest techniques. Like embossing your brads. Who woulda thunk? She even shows you a TUTORIAL!!!
I can do that…….now that she’s shown me. She also shows photos if you want to add a bit of glitter……..and I know there are a few of you out there addicted to glitter.
What I love the most is this cute idea. I think this is soap. It’s all in the packaging. I wouldn’t care if this soap smelled like patchouli, I would still love the gift. But I wouldn’t open it any further because I really can’t stand that smell.
It’s time to get your craft on ladies. And if you are looking for more wonderful blogs you can look through my past featured list……or just click on our widget. You’ll never know what you’ll find.

Very fun blog, she makes some darling cards!
I have the Chic Chick widget (luv it!) and I have a question. How do you know how many hits you are getting from the widget? I use StatCounter, but I can't tell how many hits are from Chic Chick. Am I missing something?
Those soaps are fun. I hear you about the patchouli--not my fave either.
This is my first visit to your blog--love it! What a fantastic idea!
Thanks for making my reading list EVEN LONGER! HA! Gonna go get some more inspiration and that widget for myself.
Awesome blog!! Just found you and boy have I been missig out. Thanks for sharing all these wonderful ideas.
I belong to the monthly card kit and just love it. It gives me a little project to focus on each month and at the end I have fun cards to show for it. Can't wait to get this months kit
I would very much like to use buttons, but how do you stick them?
