Pleated Poppy ~ beautiful imperfections of the everyday.

First of all let me apologize to her for spilling the beans on who won Survivor last season......I guess I blurted out the winner and she hadn't seen it yet.........I think it was her.....maybe not....

Now I swear I already featured her........but she doesn't have my featured button and I don't see her on my featured list........even if I had........she's brilliant. The Pleated Poppy! She's got lots of great ideas we just want to eat up. She keeps me entertained with her decorating talent with a few make overs which we all know we can't resist.
You know you can hook me if you show me a good furniture re-do by painting it. This looks good like it is doesn't it.........and you know what? I have that suit case........I bought it off Ebay.....actually I have 3.

With a little flick of the paint brush..........WaLA! I love it! It makes so much difference don't you think? So if you're one of those purist who can't seem to bring yourself to paint over that precious wood........get over yourself and get a paint brush.

She can plan a mean baby shower......every detail is met. It's simply amazing. I'm sure the mom to be felt very special. Heck I feel special just looking at the photos.

The great thing about Lindsey, is she tells you step by step how she did it, where she bought what and how much. My kind of gal. Seriously, we should never keep those secrets. This is something I always forget and it's SO easy! Decorative paper around your water bottles. Would you look at that cake! I am not sure if she made it, but I bet she did. (showoff)

Below is the table setting. See that cute little flower deelio in the center.........we'll talk about those in a minute. No table would be complete without a center piece. Could you just die? That alone is enough.

OK.........those deelio's are what she calls Posy Pins. She sells them. She even had a special set made just for The Nester. I'm so jealous. The Nester gets everything......she gets all the attention. Nester Nester Nester............ You know I love ya Nester.

Below is what her show looked like when she had a sale from her home. She makes the cutest stuff.

And like a nice crafter, she shows us tutorials every now and again. I just love how all the circles look.

I can't stand it! These kitchen towels are KA-YUUT.

She has a friend who has the most amazing kitchen who also writes on her blog. She did this amazing wall art below. Not only is this very cool looking in a Pottery Barn and Ballard Designs way..........I also love the message.More sewing.....not sure if she did these or if they were just part of her home show......but I liked the photo, so I used it.Just to prove she's Super Mom she makes capes for children. I'm thinking that perhaps she'd make a line of capes in the TCB name.........for all my super crafter moms...........take that Nester. More party ideas.........Beautiful. If you like what you see, please leave me a little comment, then head over and leave Lindsey a nice little comment.
