Fa la la la la... la la la la

Merry Christmas!
Christmas looks a bit different this year. It's WHITE! A LOT of WHITE! So much WHITE that our Christmas dinner and brunch have been postponed. So it looks like we get a special treat of just the 3 of us here at home. I am making Christmas Eve dinner for tonight, getting Cinnamon rolls and Hash Brown casserole ready for tomorrow morning. I am feeling a bit guilty for feeling so giddy for this opportunity to be stuck and home with the people I love the most.
So here's from my house to yours. Merry Christmas.

This shot isn't the prettiest of my home........the garage door is open, my husband shoveling snow to the right and my son a blur snow boarding down the hill. Life as it happens. It is what it is........ Also this was taken about 10 inches of snow ago. We've received a total of 14-15 inches so far. It's been snowing all morning.......

And just in case you didn't see my amazing card yet................

Have yourselves a Merry Lil' Christmas.

Wow, I can't imagine having a white Christmas. I'd love to just once though.

Have a wonderful day tomorrow.

I know what you mean. One of my favorite Christmas as a kids was when we were snowed in and had to stay home on Christmas. We stayed in our p.j's and played with our toys all day. I also remember playing a lot of games. It was all so peaceful and fun.....

All of the ice and wind here in Indiana has stopped. No more snow for now. But, that is ok with me, I'm just glad we all have power again. It has been a crazy week of on and off power. God bless the electric company workers.

We purposely scheduled things early this year with the extended family so it could be a quiet night tonight and day tomorrow for 'just us'...and, like you, I'm so looking forward to it.
Happy Holidays filled with...
Peace & Love,

I think we may be neighbors!! I too am in NW Washington, and am snowed in. Woke to more this morning. Fortunately we had already scheduled our Christmas celebration for New Years day so all the kids could stay home and enjoy Christmas day without rushing to get to Gramma's and Papa's.
Come on over and take a peek at my snow pictures.
My NW is about 20 minutes north of Everett and 5 miles east of I-5 from exit 206. Know of where I speak?
The card is so cute. I love the hot chocolate and peppermint stick as well as the cute boy.

Thanks for stopping by! Yes we are 'neighbors'. We live in the Felida area of Vancouver, but have lots of friends out in your area and we go to church in South Hockinson!

I love your Christmas card. It is so adorable.

Hope you had a very Merry Christmas.

Did you move Kim? I thought you lived near me in the DC Metro area. We don't have any snow. I'm jealous :-) Where are you living now?

Oh Kim! I know you probably get tired of all the snow, but what a beautiful Christmas! And what a wonderful gift of a small family Christmas! I love the relatives, but just ONCE I'd love for it to be just the 4 of us!
