Pots and Pins

I am just sitting here going through my FFF file to see what grabs me..........all to the wonderful hum of my husband shampooing the carpets. Could life get any better? Yes..............it can because I found some kick bum recipes....................I swear I didn't know............but yes.........another NW girl!

I was drawn to Nan's blog, Pots and Pins for the great way she shows a recipe. Each step......with photos......... so helpful for us visual type. You feel confident right away that you CAN do it. YES WE CAN! (still echoing from last Tuesday) :)
Her recipes have that perfect balance.........a bit different, but familiar enough you know you will like it. So many pasta dishes............yummmm pasta.

And soups! Soups in the NW this time of year is a must. I must serve soup 2x a week at least.
My crockpot is brewing right now...........but it has chicken in it........but we'll pretend there's soup in it. But remember my husband is shampooing the carpets.......so it really doesn't matter what's in the crockpot does it?

Breakfasts dishes........Those are probably NW strawberries........nothing better.

In addition to her wide variety of home cookin and bakin..........she quilts! You'll be in heaven if both are your hobbies.
I don't quilt..........but I like to wrap up in one, so that counts right? Give me one of those turn overs up there and a warm quilt and I'm good.

I think this quilt is from her Friday group.
She's written a couple of books for quilting, being the talented girl she is..........and she's working on a recipe book, but it's not out yet.

If you're looking for something good to fix for dinner.........or is it supper?..............head over to Nan's site for lots of ideas. Her site is easy to navigate, all the recipe categories are on the left. You'll fall in love with her warm NW personality if nothing else. She even has my site listed under Creative Blogs! I love her already.

Oh...I do have a favor to ask...my blog is Pots and Pins, not Pots and Pans - an easy mistake...this is so cool...I must now email everyone I know to check me out on your blog!! Thanks so very, very much! xoxo, Nan

I just found the TCB site to find out my mom was featured! Cool! I was lucky enough to grow up eating her delicious food! Every time I go home I probably gain 10 pounds from all the yummy baked goods around the kitchen!
