Little Birdie Secrets

Well butter my butt and call me a biscuit...........I read that somewhere today and I've been saying it all day.
Little Birdie Secrets is chalk full of tutorials. Fun ones! And guess what? They're from WASHINGTON STATE. So I'm sure we've run into each other while ordering a Starbucks.
Oh, wait........I'm about 3 hours away, so maybe not. But it's still fun to realize there are really creative people that live near me. So many of us NW girls. I think.............I think........I could be wrong, but I think this blog has 3 gals writing it. I was too distracted by all the projects to actually pay attention to such details.

What are you going to find there? Tutorials...........did I mention that? Lots of them.

A true Seattle girl wouldn't be caught dead without her coffee cozy.
Even though they use a real sewing machine, they also have projects for us sewing challenged wanna be's. My kind of sewing. And because EVERY good house wife should have a special pair of these..........
we can make our own.....or just think how cute your husband will look with these?

And if you're going to scrub the toilet with those, you would look even better with one of these holding those locks back.

You know how you always want to find the perfect gift........something original? Something that doesn't cost an arm and a leg...............that's such a gross saying....besides, I'm pretty sure it's illegal. Back to original inexpensive gifts..........Love this idea. Even a tutorial...........did I mention how many tutorials they have? Or if you were having a fancy holiday party.......you could do all the hangers in holiday prints........wow, just think how many people you could empress while you make them hang and fetch their own coats.

Everyone loves a ribbon box...........but not everyone knows how to make one. Well guess what? There's a tutorial!Another great great project. This would also make a great teachers gift. You could add rub on letters, stamps with paint.......And this is my fave! I've made soap in the past..........in the far past.......way before you could buy it at Michael's. I actually had to order the glycerin from some place in Seattle.......How times have changed. But I never made it so cute. I just made little angle , star and rectangle shapes. call me a biscuit...........these are so dang cute! What a great party favor for a kids party.

Head over and give little birdie a few tweets! Be really really nice, because as I'm typing this I see their little trade mark on their photos and I don't want them to be mad that I borrowed them.........even to brag about them. So kiss up will ya?
