JGD

What a mess! I am heading to a full weekend of scrapping. A Scrapbook Retreat! You should see my mess just trying to pack all my stuff. I m hoping to find my scrappin mojo again. I am SO far behind that my focus is what I call JGD pages. Just Get'em Done pages. No worries about trying to make them look all purdy. JGD!
So, I will see you all Sunday night or Monday.
Do something creative this weekend and report back.

I feel ya! Most of my albums are full of LO's that were done just to be done. I knew if I put too much effort, I would over think the whole thing.
Have fun at your weekend!

Scrapbooking is a dream I've had for at least 5yrs.
I have fifty years worth of photos and truly I don't know where to start. There are so many stories behind those pictures, and only I can tell them. But just looking at the tote where all the albums are gives me the ee-bee-geebies!
I envy you young girls who have done this and are having so much fun with it.
I'm told it's a very expensive hobby, and now that I'm on a pension it's scary to even start.
But one of these days I'll take the plunge.
Have fun at your retreat and tell us all about it on Monday.

Get 'em done! I know what you mean about the pages not havin' to look purdy :>)

Fran: better now than never! Your family will cherish all the memories that you'll record for them. Those stories may go untold if you don't tell them. Scrapbooking, like most things, can be done in a frugal way as well. Consider it!

What a great way to get your mojo back! A whole weekend to just scrap sounds wonderful. When I was back in the States recently I got to go to the craft stores and LSS in my Mom's area and got inspired again. I bought a Cuddlebug with a half price coupon and am excited to start making cards and scrapping. Now I just have to find my craft table under an avalanche of stuff.

I can't wait to see some of the work you got done. I've been doing the Digital scrapbooking thing and I love it! I just hosted a baby shower this weekend...where I made a lot of the decor...so I was feeling pretty creative!
