No.62~ Quilt Taffy!

No.62~ Quilt Taffy!
First of all, I just want to thank everyone who has donated and all of you bidding. But I must jump up and down for this one! I think you'll agree this is a unique opportunity for this beautiful, amazing quilt! Des from Quilt Taffy made this. She's a past feature on TCB too.
Des sells the quilt pattern on her etsy shop, but this story tugged at her heart strings enough that she decided to let this quilt go for the recovery of Stephanie and her husband. We could get all mushy about how this quilt is the warmth of Americana, very much so like Stephanie took to mothering.
Des says "it's a nice sized quilt and the machine quilting and piecing are excellent on it. It has 100% cotton batting in so it's a great weight and warm if you want it warm and light if you want it light. Machine washable. "
Here's what it looks like after it gets washed........all the vintage shrinky love.

I want this! Bidding must start at $200. I know......but it's worth it. Ends Thursday Sept 18th 5p pacific time.
