Just a Girl

SURPRISE! Did you ever think I would post again? I have a surge of energy knowing my sister and family are coming for a spontaneous visit. I need that energy to clean the playroom........I thought I should also finish this post too.

Since I've been spending so much time on my back with hickeys on my neck............get your mind out of the gutter..........you can read about it here............anyhooooo, I love what this girl does to a bed. LOVE IT!
Just a Girl! She has it down. What a great idea to have a winter set and a summer set. And don't we love a few pillows on a bed? Men do not get it. And we don't care if they do, do we? With this sore back, my computer time has been very limited. So I thought I would give you a lot of bang for your blogging.
I love a girl who can find some throwbacks, or unwanted items and create a whole new look. Recycling at it's best. She recently found all this..........

SHUT UP! That is not the same sconce...........and I never thought about putting bows on my pears......this changes things for me. Very cute. Why would someone get rid of this? I bet they were decorating challenged and thought it was a wine glass......and thought it was worthless if they couldn't set it down. Lucky girl. I want it.Another recent find........for some unbelievable price of .50 cents..........she was willing to overlook the chips.

Because she had a vision. When in doubt, add wine.
I have GOT to try this. I haven't because all my walls seem to have 3 or 5 items grouped........I may have to do something like this for upstairs somewhere. It's such a great simple inexpensive way to create wall art. A little Basic Grey paper and you're set. Ooooh.........what about using some of that Amy Butler fabric? Somebody stop me!

And this idea is always one of my favorites. So simple, so meaningful.I am officially naming her the Cheap Wall Art Queen.........Inexpensive is too long. And I don't think she'll be offended. She created and downloaded this from Wordle.net.........brilliant!

Back to School night was last night. I'm sure I was the talk of the suburb mom's with all my hickeys on my neck.........We start right after the holiday. I may have to decorate one of my son's composition books. She has a tutorial! This would also make a great teacher gift.........teacher gift?! Yikes.......I better find one fast.

And the real reason I chose her, was because she throws some awesome parties for her kids. I secretly want her to throw me a party. Psst.......my birthday is next week.

She looks like the fun mom on the block, don't you think? You'll enjoy her blog. She's a funny girl and she's married to a crazy man. Lots and lots of ideas to keep you busy for the holiday weekend.

Also...any chance you can change your comment identity settings to allow us to manually enter a posting name and website? Can't get my wordpress URL to work with the OpenID selection. :)
