Jennifer Pebbles ~ the good life

I have a confession to make..........
My name is Kim and I haven't scrapped in............oh at least a year. Sure I had that one night in April........but that has been it in the last year. That is pathetic! How can I call myself a scrapbooker? The shame!
It's time to get back on the horse. It's time to call in some big gun motivation...........Jennifer Pebbles! She's one of my homey's. Well she lives in Washington anyway.........like me. I've never met her, but I can feel her NW charm when I read her blog. She funny, and I like funny. Even though she's a cougar........I'll try not to hold it against her. At least she's not a huskie.......then I'm afraid I wouldn't be allowed to even look at her layouts. (we're ducks in this household......or at least my husband is.......you are not allowed to speak of the beavers or the huskies.......no no no)

Jennifer is going to get me going, get me motivated. Love her layouts. They have just enough zing, but still that clean look.
Jennifer is one of the names in the scrapbooking industry. She's designing for several companies that most of you may already know..........especially if you're a scrapbooker. I even know them, and remember...........I'm not a scrapbooker anymore. :)

Autumn Leaves.......amazing stuff. Love their calender.

A Must Art Stamps ........cutest stamps EVER!

American Crafts .........lots of scrapping stuff you must have.

Pretty Little Studio.........her own digi stuff. Some of her designs were used to create this blog. You can see her little button on the left. Can't go wrong with this stuff if you're a digi gal.
And the grand daddy of them all. Two Peas in a Bucket

I'm starting to tingle.........I think my scrap magic is coming back..........I knew Jennifer could pull me out of this funk. I wonder if she'd come clean up my scrap table first, so I can get started? Heck maybe she can just come scrap with me?
I am also loving her photography. She is fairly new at it and look at what she's doing! You have no idea how inspiring that is to a newbie like me.She has some pretty incredible photos on her site. Love the snowy one.........you'll have to search her archives.....you don't want to miss it. I'll give you a hint......it's in the winter months. :)
Look at that Seattle stamp! What a perfect card for any coffee lover........Seattle lover, NW lover.......very cute.
I absolutely LOVE how she's storing her buttons! I can just feel them on my skin as my hand dives in to grab that yellow one towards the bottom.
And if you love the buttons..........take a gander at how she's storing her stamps. I love me an old suitcase.......in fact I have three of them in my family room posing as end tables. Very cool.

She's a vintage girl after our own hearts. I would totally wrestle her for those lockers. Those are the most perfect scraproom storage I have ever seen. They would be pretty cool in a kitchen, or mud room too. Where did you find those Jennifer?

Off you go to spend the evening with Jennifer. You won't be disappointed. I hope she's not disappointed that I borrowed her photos........I'm pretty sure I asked her a few months ago.........right Jennifer.......Jen Jen.......Jenny? I love ya.........smooch. But if you want me to take them down, I can. :)

TCB readers, you need to flood her with comments.........butter her up for me will ya.

You are too funny. You're right...if anyone can get those scrapbook juices flowing again, it's probably her. I have an entire walk in closet filled with my scrapbook and rubber stamp stuff. I know I should just sell it all and make a killing, but I keep thinking...someday, somewhere...hmm...I believe a song is coming to me.
Glad you're back posting. We were worried about you.

I haven't made cards in about as long as you haven't scrapbooked, but somehow this woman makes me want to break out my craft box, and go spend some $ :)!

Morning Kim. Might I say that even tho I've just found you, I read every day...you make me smile and sometimes even laugh out loud! And dontcha know we need outloud laughing these days! I am not a scrapbooker (sorry....!), but I am a lapsed artist/crafter, so your site is giving me inspiration to begin again. And I thank you for that! I'll see you again tomoro! Carol J.

what is it about buttons that makes me so happy? I'm starting to think my little button jar isn't nearly big enough.

I must take a peek at her stuff. I dabble in scrapbooking--both digital and regular (yes, I too haven't touched my "photos" in years)! I do enjoy the digital more. Always looking for some good elements. Gee, so organized. You should see my scrabooking stuff spread everywhere on a desk!

Hey Kim, you rock! I am feeling a little down and out today and reading your blog today lifted me up. I love what you said about the button jar and wrestling Jennifer for her lockers. Your writing is delightful! I'm going to pop over to her blog now but wanted you to know how awesome you are too.

Thanks!

I'll check her out. I totally need some scrapbooking inspiration too to finish up my daughter's baby book. The sheer number of digital photos is what's holding me back, I think. And it's such a big project, in comparison to making curtains or covering my dining chairs. I like quick and easy projects!

Terribly fascinating blog. Impressive!

Hope your day is going great!

I'm in love with the mini baby book on her blog! Thansk for sharing!!! :o)
Here's an out of the blue question. I didn't see an email address anywhere so I'll ask here. My husband and I are seriously considering moving to the Washington area. We have family in Maple Valley, but they have only been there a year and are little help. Any particular areas you would highly recommend for raising a family??? I know you are super busy, but if you ever have a few minutes you can email me at twinmommybre@gmail.com

I haven't scrapped in forever either. I want to want to scrapbook, but totally lost my mojo. I'm on my way to check out her site and if there is a wrestling match for those lockers - I'm in!

You know Kim, I'm trying really hard not to start with scrapbooking. I know I'd love it and find it addictive and I already have so many projects going at the moment.

And then you put up posts like this one. You're one cruel woman sometimes :)

Eee! Gotta have those Seattle stamps. Perfect for when I just need to send a quick note! I haven't scrapped in almost a year, either, except a quick mini book here and there. My poor kids. I do miss it. SO glad I'm not the only one! There are just way too many cool crafts out there, and way too little time (and moolah!).
