Grace Violet

So many reasons I could say why I chose her today...............from the pineapple on her title banner.....I knew right away she must be obsessed with pineapples like me....or could it be because she has my blinkie so cheerfully blinking away? That always catches my attention and makes me blush. Besides those reasons, the real reason is because she has some cute and fun ideas.
Grace Violet
Kristin is one of those people.........those people who can make cute things from fabric. She has great taste in fabric! Most days I am so happy that I don't sew, because there are just way too many great fabrics out there and I couldn't choose. I would end up with more fabric than I have scrapbook products.........and I still probably wouldn't have that one fabric that I need..........the discontinued one I posted below. :(
This site also has LOTS of tutorials! Especially on sewing. So when I finally bring my mother's old sewing machine in from the garage, I know where I'll come. She says this bag is a no brainer...........or something like that. But I'm tellin you.........if I actually made a bag that looks that good, I'd be the crazy lady telling everyone in the grocery store.

Another tutorial.........products needed.........Ta da!!!! Or is it Tah Dah!!!!! Cute! This little tee was actually inspired from something read HERE on this blog! I love little things appliqued on white tee's. She talks about decopaging on fabric.........I must go back and read more slowly. Could this mean........NO SEWING MACHING? But before I get my hopes up, I do remember seeing her sew the green trunk of this tree .........D$&@* She does like to decopodge though. Aren't those cute? I don't know if she has an Etsy shop.......but she should.Another take on silohettes. She did these for her nieces. Darling. I just love this little kitchen, don't you? They didn't have anything this cute when my son was little and before he declared his war on the color pink. We bought him this cheap ugly little kitchen from Toys R Us when he was 1 1/2 or so.......thinking that he probably wouldn't play with kitchen stuff for long........boy were we wrong. We should have invested in a nice kitchen like this. He played with all his fake food, pots and pans til he was at least 5 or 6! I've noticed that Target has such cute things now too. And the walls...........look at the walls! Kristin is another one of those ultra organized planners.............she's kicked it up a notch and made herself this fancy planner. This girl is only beginning. I can tell she's gonna have so much more to show us. Bring it on!

Please don't forget to let her know how you found her. TCB readers are the best!
