A Year Of CrockPotting!

What is it about January that makes you want...........notice I said WANT......to clean out every cupboard in your house? And it also makes me want to cook in my crockpot............I am getting ready to start the pulled pork sandwiches after this post.

So you can imagine my excitement when I found this CROCKPOT blog! I was leaving a comment on Laura's site (she's a past feature) and saw THIS SITE! A Year of CrockPotting! Cue the angels singing please! Oh my holy heck! I love this girl and I just found her. I cannot wait to see what she comes up with.
And you thought Today's Creative Blog was only about decorating? Nope! Anything creative and cooking is creative! It is to me anyway, because I rarely follow the full recipe. I wish I could say they always turn out.

I love that she shows you all the ingredients.......and I can see she shops at Trader Joes! Who doesn't love Trader Joe's? If you don't have one........you must move.

I have no idea what this is below and I have never used my crockpot for anything resembling that, but I am going back to her site to find out.

And the best part? She has a sense of humor! Do you think she can do 365 days of crockpotting? I can't wait!

So, on you go..........don't forget to tell her how you found her. :)

Yay - thanks for the tip! I NEED to use my crockpot because I teach music after school and I can never find good crockpot recipes - they all seem to taste the same to me! I'm excited to check out some new recipes!

What a great site. My mom and I were just talking about using a crockpot over the holidays. This gives me more reason now to pull mine out of the cabinet and actually use it-lol.

Great feature!

What a wonderful and fun post! I especially love...I was going to say the opening but it is ALL SO GREAT!!! I am not witty and fun ("witty and pretty and fun" West Side Story) at writing like you and some others but I so admire that part of your talent also!
As I was bitten with the crock pot bug between Christmas and New Years I will definately go over to her witty site also! :)
Thank You for another great post!!!
With Kindness,
Mary

Hi Kim,
I've really enjoyed checking in on your post and checking out your featured blogs. I love the one today. I have a crockpot which I don't use enough, but I think I may well get lots of inspiration from the Crockpot Lady. Thanks.

If you are into crockpots and good blogging, head on over to visit my pal Mrs. G at Derfwad Manor. She has a feature every week, "Slow Cook Thursday", and her writing every other day is genius.

I'm a little nervous about using a crock pot, but I want one anyway! I think my pup would go nuts smelling yummy food cooking all day while the family's away!

Thanks for hooking us up with the Crockpot Lady, as I was just looking for one more excuse to go to Trader Joe's! Love the pics too, very funny...with the little sausage guy -- I laughed out loud at work -- Oh, I know, I'm not supposed to be on the blog at work, but truly, I get more done, really, I promise, just encouraging the Creative Mind here...
