Do you have young school age children?

If so, this might be fun for your son or daughter. My son's 3rd grade class is learning their geography. They are collecting postcards written from other children from around the world and in turn writing back. They can be written in any language. Of course I thought of all you wonderful crafty mom's who are always looking for a fun activity for your kiddo's. This would probably take your child at least 20 min.........that's 20 minutes of crafting time for you! If you are interested in having your child send a postcard to my son at his school, just email me and I will send you the school address. I will have my son write a postcard back.

Kim,
Happy anniversay! I am a daily reader of both of your blogs and was hoping when you are free you would stop by my new blog. I am not a professional designer or scrapbooker, just a new blogger who wants to keep in touch with her family and friends from Utah. If you do stop by, there is a huge gap between Patrick's room and the next post, I don't know why, but it is there.
I would love to hear what you think of my blog, organizing and decorating so far in my new home.
Thanks and have a groovy day!

hey kimm! send me the school addy, Brody will send Lu a postcard... Doug, Jan, and Julie have always sent Brody a post card from each stop in thier travels since he was little... I didnt know he kept them until just a few years ago, when I found them in a dresser drawer, so I bought him a book to keep them in.. he wrote on the front "postcards from grandma by Brody" LOL!

When I was little, a group of students in Ohio (I live in PA) put a letter inside a balloon and let it go. Friends of my parents, with no young children at home, found the balloon and called me to see if I would like a pen pal. I DID! It was such fun. How old is your son? Mine are 13 and 14.

You looked beautiful on your wedding day! Happy belated Anniversary!!

Love,
Julie
