Creative Organizing! With Aby Garvey

I've been needing to organize my scraproom for awhile now. I wanted to feature a scrapbooking site, but honestly, how can I get motivated to create if my scraproom is in messy mode?

With summer here, I suddenly get overwhelmed with all the projects I want to do........usually has something to do with painting a piece of furniture and changing something in my house. But I also really need to overhaul my scraproom. So, today I did a google search for "Creative Organizing" and Aby's site was the first to pop up. Boy, was that fate or what? Not only is she a professional organizer, but she's a scrapbooker. And then to read that she was coming to Washington..........I think she's here now, but a few hours away from my little town in Washington. Darn it!

I did a quick read through her blog.......because I have so much organizing to do.............and I found her delightful. She teaches with Big Picture Scrapbooking..........love Stacy. She also has a organizing newsletter. Aby's got alot of great ideas for helping you clear the clutter and make it look pretty at the same time.

She even has a book for organizing your scrap goods..................I think I need to order that one. Can't wait to get to know her blog better.

You are so right about creativity being stifled by a messy room. I recently cleaned my "sewing" room and it's so nice to be able to go in there and create. I've been much more productive since I organized everything!
I just wanted to drop in and say hi - I've been checking out your blog for a little while.
I totally agree about needing to organise before you can create, I'm currently stuck in a small Japanese apartment, so it is so hard to have a nice tidy creative area... I'm dreaming of the studio I'll have once I go back to Australia.
I am thrilled by this link...I love organization but with two messy boys (one hubby, one son) and a clutter bug of a daughter I am constantly battling on my own. I am pretty good at it, but just so many obstacles...!!
Great pick...as usual!!
