Candice Carpenter ~ Peacoats and Party Hats

Another cute name. PeaCoats and PartyHats! Love it. And you're going to love it too. Her name and her site will take you on a nostalgic journey of vintage party favors, circus clowns and anything of the like.

I actually cleaned my scrap table off yesterday and I actually made a birthday card. I'm creating! So it's working. If I feature an amazing scrapper, I may just get something done. You might think that I found her from Jennifer Pebbles site, since it looks like Jennifer did a guest design for Candice's online store. The cute baby book. When I was looking through Candice's site, I came across a very familiar baby book.........and that's when I realized these two are somewhat connected. So.......I guess I am being pulled to their style. Did that all make sense? If you're confused........no worries. Just keep reading and forget about it.

Candice's site is a color wonderland. A vintage wonderland. I like spelling it WUNDERLAND though. I actually think her middle name must be vintage. I am seeing things on her site that I haven't seen since I was 5........and that's a LONG time ago. Does that mean I'm vintage? In a good way at least.
Did someone say online store?........shopping?........you can pick up some goodies like this below from her shop. Amazing shop where you can find your own circus. Sophie and Ellen find the most amazing things to sell to you. Sophie and Ellen? Who are they? Visit her shop and find out. Just looking at all her items, all her creations.........doesn't it take you back to simple times? And if this is your first go around with this vintage look, then listen up chica's, you could learn something from us original vintage gals. (shhhh, but Candice doesn't look like this is her second time enjoying this style.......we'll let it slide) Yes, she's that good. That explains why she's one of the designers for my favorite scrappy calendar.

Love me some ribbon! I thought I had a lot...........no, I apparently don't.

I love the photos she took at the fair. Makes me crave a greasy corn dog and frozen lemonade. Our fair is coming up this Friday.......my craving will become a reality! Great photos.........you have to go see.
This is just so cute, so interesting, so original.

Thinking outside the box. It's what you creative folk do best. Why didn't I think of putting rub ons on a painted pot? The possibilities are endless.

Full of energy, full of color, full of many different ways to be creative. Go visit Candice and join the parade.

I just stumbled across your blog. Although I blog about several different things in my crazy life, I am an avid scrapbooker! It's always fun to come across other people's inspirations. Thanks for sharing!
