Found them from Chic Chick

As many of you know, I am partnered with 3 other amazing women.widget We LOVE to support women online.  We love helping you make your mark.  That’s one of the reasons we started our Chic Chick widget.  It’s a great way to get your blog out there on 100’s of other blogs.  So do me a favor……when you see our widget, click on a few links.  I know you’ll enjoy where it takes you.

Once a week, I’ve decided to find a my feature from our widget.  Today, it’s all about All Things Related.  They are completely new to me!  And I’m obviously new to them since I saw everyone else’s buttons on their blog, but not mine. sniff sniff….It’s a good thing I’m a big girl and don’t hold grudges….and besides these two sisters inlaws are rockin the crafty crafts.

I love a thrifty sista!  Would you just look at this clock they made?  image Unbelievable!  They have the full tutorial on their site, and honestly after looking at it, it looks pretty simple.   Yea….I could do that……right….  ok, maybe not.image Amazing job!imageThese gals are scrappers……..and I don’t mean scrapbooking.  See this workstation below?  She made that with about 3 different pieces of furniture? Who has vision like that?  Dang…….image These are the pieces she used……or parts from……

an old dresser…….image an old entertainment centerimage and an old bed….all things she just had laying around in her garage…..things either she had picked up on the side of the road, or had been given.  imageSo it’s no wonder she scooped up this hutch top at goodwill for just a few dollars….. imageShe then found an old dresser…..figured they would match pretty good……and before you can shake two sticks, she has herself a new hutch….for under $50!  image  So naturally, she brought this chair home and took it apart to make something useful.imageLike a jewelry hanger……..well of course……you didn’t see that one coming?imageAnd this little tin pail just wasn’t good enough…..one of them had been obsessing about a ceramic rose…..so why not make one and add it to the tin?image Made a rose from some clay…….she said it was easy………

imageFinished product…….Pretty cute.image Once again…….they took a 10 cent candle stick she found at a thrift store……picked up the bird at the Dollar store…….for $1.  :)  Painted it all…….image And made this Ballard Designs inspired bird decoration.  Pretty good huh?image They are always stirring something up.  Great stuff.

OK, this is where you come in…….I am relying on ALL of you to leave them a comment to show them they are fools for not having my button on their blog….let’s show them how popular TCB is!  :)

If you’re wanting to add your site to our widget, just click here.

The clock & the rose were my favorite projects too. I thought she might be a cake decorator, the way she made the rose. But no, she just 'fooled around' with the clay. Can you believe it?
They have a great blog. Glad you showcased them today.

Now I know what to do with that chair of my daughter's that keeps falling apart! I'm a jewelry designer and I attend lots of arts and crafts fairs, and I'm always looking for unique ways to create displays for my jewelry. That chair idea fills the bill.

Those furniture redos are AMAZING. Makes me want to go find cheap junk at garage sales (or in my basement) and see what I can make...except I don't know that I could pull off what these ladies have :)

The jewelry hanger is fantastic. I love the re-use of old furniture. Wonder if anyone in my Freecycle group is getting rid of a chair like that?
